| Alan Poh started ACP Computer Training and Consultancy in 1997 when he was only 21 years old. Armed with zero experience in business, a huge passion for computers, $10,000 capital from his family, he started his training consultancy in a rented HDB shophouse in Yishun providing ICT training to kids in schools. Within a year, he hired four staff and from there, he expanded and started a computer training school in 2000. Today, ACP has 130 staff, with over a hundred schools enrolled in their Ministry of Education approved ICT training programme, they also provide training to vocational institutes as well as a range of Cambridge University accredited diploma programmes in Singapore. Learn from the man himself and perhaps the next up and coming entrepreneur could be you. |
