Some say they are weird and crazy. Meet these unbelievable bus fans who created their own fan club to discuss everything about our public buses. Some literally go around chasing for buses, just so that they can take a picture of the buses to add up to their picture collections. The best part is some are not public transport commuters but are still obsessed about buses. Join our bus fanatics to hear more about what they do to earn the bus fanatic title.

James Lee is a real estate agent by profession & has been a bus enthusiast for over 10 years. He enjoys doodling designs of buses & collects bus models as a hobby. To date, he has about 100 of such models. He hopes to preserve every part of the transport heritage through drawings, photos or even the actual vehicle.

Joseph Lim together with James Lee contributed in the writing of the 'Soon Chow story', a book that detailed the history of Soon Chow buses in Singapore, prior to the existence of SBS. Similar to James, Joseph is interested in buses since the day that he learnt ABC and 123. Joseph enjoys taking photographs of buses and currently has a collection of close to 40,000 pictures. He aims to set up a bus museum with fellow bus fans to preserve our Singapore transport heritage.

Poon Ngai Seng is a collector of all sorts. He collectibles range from old bus guides, tickets, bus models, and anything that is related to buses including photographs of bus advertisements, and any types of buses that are running on the roads.

Saturday, 6 February, 10am – 12pm, level 5, Imagination Room, National Library Building
